Is our eschatology giving us hope or demoralizing us

I’m afraid to say that Christianity is on the same fatalistic path of the radical left. The left teaches that the earth is dying from a myriad of causes out of our control. This constant drumbeat leaves us and our children with no hope and no purpose for investing in the future.

We Christians teach our children that the world is coming to an end, and we repeat it their whole lives. It seems like every two or three years someone in the Church tells us that the end of the world is finally here. The consequence of this errant teaching is that we disincentivize investment for the future. Yes, we go on getting married and having children, but our investment in the things that can better life on earth has been curtailed. How do we explain to our children and grandchildren that we didn’t invest in the public schools because we were waiting for the end of the world?

If our Founding Fathers had focused on the end times the way we do, they would not have invested so heavily into preserving liberty for their posterity. It seems like we are less interested in investing in things that have the greatest impact on our lives, which is absurd on every level. Yet we justify it by saying that it’s all going to burn anyway. While we are repeating that mantra year after year, our children are having children and the earth is still here. With each passing year our liberties are eroding while the evil Left is making more and more investments for control that directly affect our lives.

Proverbs 13:22 says, “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.” This raises the question: at what point do we stop investing in our future? This scripture also suggests that God is the arbiter of possessing and dispossessing. If we are not investing in the future here on earth, then why would God invest in us?

One of the biggest culprits in our diminishing influence is our eschatology. For example, if we were to read Matthew 23:13-39 and Matthew 24 in context of WHAT is being discussed, it is the Judgement.  The WHO part of the text that Jesus is talking about is the current leadership of that time that was to be judged. If we asked WHEN the judgement will take place, it is absolutely clear that it happens at the destruction of the temple. If we ask WHERE, the answer is Jerusalem and its surrounding cities.

We Christians get off the rails when we inject ourselves into the picture with our time frame with our cities. We ignore that the scriptures explicitly deal with the Jewish leaders, the temple, and the city of Jerusalem and their surrounding cities. How we got to where we are today cannot be attributed to the scriptures. We have broken all the scientific rules of interpretations. You can’t get to where we are today using exegetical or hermeneutical applications. What is clear in these scriptures as Jesus disciples put it, “And what is the sign of your coming and the end of the age?” The age is the end of the Jewish state as the representative head of the Church and the sacrificial system, which Jesus said that His body (Church) would replace.

It’s past time the Church sit down and have a discussion around this topic. We’ve endured many “Late Great Planet Earth” movies, countless blood moons and never ask what happened or didn’t happen.

While we have abandoned caring for the garden, that is the earth and all its institutions, the evil Leftist are figuratively speaking, busy planting trees for their future. How do we prepare our children to lead and navigate the future if we don’t teach them to plants trees, if we don’t tell them that they have a future and a responsibility to invest in it. How can God favor our investments if we are not investing?

Patriot Pastors Against Critical Race Theory

We find that Critical Race Theory (CRT) is destructive to the individual, the Church, and our community.  We find that teaching our children to view our nation through the lens of race is repulsive and we denounce it.

We find that the CRT Oppression Matrix chart is offensive in declaring the following people groups oppressors under the Privileged Social Group category:

  • White people
  • Male assignment at birth
  • Gender conforming men and women
  • Heterosexuals
  • Rich, upper class people
  • Able-bodied people
  • Protestants
  • Adults

We not only find this divisive, but it is also destructive to our community and the nation.  Therefore, we denounce it and demand that this curriculum and all teaching of Critical Race Theory be removed from the schools in Springfield, Missouri.

The Founding Fathers understood that the British would be very effective by targeting individuals standing alone.  Conversely the Founders understood how much support they would muster through coming together as one voice empowering those who shared their cause.

If you want to take a stand by adding your name to this letter email me your name and the name of your church at info@cupasalt.org.

Critical Race Theory in Springfield, MO

Dear Pastors and Community leaders of Springfield,

This letter is to invite you to an educational meeting concerning the current indoctrination of our students, teachers and staff within the Springfield Public School system

Many of you may be unaware of the Equity and Diversity training that is being promulgated in our schools. In the name of Equity and Diversity this program concludes that all white people are racist and the cause of all our social ills and they must acknowledge it.

This is part of a national effort to divide people into many groups for the purpose of dismantling and reconstructing society to serve Marxism and various forms of humanistic ideologies, which are antithetical to Christianity and all our cultural norms. The perpetrators of this effort have determined the most effective way to complete the reconstruction of our nation is to raise up a generation of children who have been emptied of their parent’s values and conditioned to a set of new values. In fact, this indoctrination has been underway since the 1960’s.

The teachers and administrators who have objected to this training have been threatened and silenced. There is a sense of hopelessness to their cries for help as they are being forced to participate in the dismantling of our society and the brainwashing of our children. Embedded in this training is a direct attack on the Church which is explained in what is called the “Oppression Matrix”.

Due to the suppression of information of our traditional values by social media, mainstream news, and the cancel culture we are at a disadvantage. Our most powerful tool has yet to be employed and that is the truth coming from the pulpits. The pastors of Springfield hold the key to the success or defeat of this Satanic attack. I know that connecting the dots that calls for pastoral involvement can be elusive. What if we look at the fact that the children of the parishioners in your congregation are your sheep also and that they require protection in the school setting in addition to our places of gathering.

I am looking for pastors and community leaders to unify your voices and influence by adding your names to a letter denouncing this curriculum known as Critical Race Theory to be removed from Springfield schools. On behalf of many of your congregates we request your immediate attention. Please contact me to sign up as a Biblical patriot pastor. We are also supporting three candidates for the School board that will require your help. With your help we can began recapturing our schools.

For more information on Critical Race Theory Dr. Mary Byrne will be presenting more detail information on March 8, 6:15-8:15 at Gloria Deo Academy, 3146 S. Golden Ave, Springfield, MO 65807. Pastors this is no small issue. If you can’t be in attendance please send a representative who could give you a briefing on the meeting.

It’s All About Race. Really??

During an interview with Laura Ingraham, Clarence Thomas asked this question rhetorically in speaking of the divisive climate that we are experiencing in America today, “What binds us together anymore?” The answer is nothing as we watch the revision of our history and the reemergence of racial tension to levels far greater than the Jim Crow era when blacks were overtly oppressed. This societal unease flies in the face of reality. Blacks have opportunities that were not available sixty and seventy years ago. Blacks are freer and more prosperous than ever. Those who have bettered themselves have traveled the same road of success that other successful people of all races. They worked hard, overcame adversity, got educated, stayed out of trouble with the law, and surrounded themselves with other successful people.

Our nation is being fundamentally changed by focusing on the old wounds of our past. Somehow we have allowed the Liberal Progressive Socialist ideology to shape the narrative that we are in essence the most villainous people who have ever existed. They continue to pick at the scabs of the past by reminding us of old sins that have been forgiven. As a nation when it comes to slavery and the Jim Crow laws, no one in this era can make an honest claim that we haven’t recovered sufficiently.

The thought that only the black man born in America can never recover from the past is nonsense and racist on its face. This insanity can only serve those promoting the idea, and conversely, it can only work with a thoroughly conditioned victim. When the black man accepts the notion that he has an incurable disease, he paves the way back to the slavery that he abhorred. Only this time instead of physical chains, he is cuffed with political chains. These psychological chains are much stronger than actual chains because of the cooperation required of the new and improved slave.

The modern slave is constantly bombarded with the notion that someone has to do things for him. His handlers have built brand new slave quarters during the fifties and sixties called projects. They improved his rations with feeding programs. They justified self-segregation by teaching him ethnocentric gobbledygook while the communist agitators disguised as the Black Panthers promoted black supremacy.

I must point out that the so called new black movement is primarily characterized by anger that results in a need for a revolution. This new call to revolution has no clear goals other than destroying what exists, and what things are to look like on the other end is even murkier.

What used to bind us together was the dominant influence of the Christian culture. As we witness more and more the unwillingness of Christians to get involved in the culture, the more America unravels.

It is the good news of the kingdom of God that heals wounds through forgiveness. Please note that it is incumbent upon the one offended to release the offender according to the scriptures. (Matthew 6:12”… and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”) This is just one of the many healing antidotes that brings people together. Galatians 4:28 says, “there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

The late Francis Schaffer stated, “When Biblical Christianity ceased to provide the conscience for German society, when political and economic chaos as well as moral permissiveness prevailed, the stage was set for the Nazi movement.”  May God forbid that we go down that path.” Likewise if the atheistic moral compass becomes our guidance system we will go the way of chaotic societies and will no longer be a magnet for fleeing emigrants. To answer Justice Thomas’s question, it is the operating system of the government of God that binds us.

State Sponsored Murder, You Could Be Next

Yesterday I received a message from a reporter from KOLR10 who wanted my response to Abortion clinics opening in Springfield, MO. I was unable to respond in time to do the interview. Nevertheless I will give my thoughts regarding the state sponsored murder of our fellow human beings.

  1. Firstly, Missouri leads the way when it comes to state sponsored murder of our fellow human beings. The expansion of this heinous crime outside of St. Louis was forced onto us by judicial activism. There is no way this would have been imposed on us legislatively. The vast majority of Missourians don’t want innocent blood on their hands.
  2. It would be irresponsible to not mention that Margaret Sanger, the Founder of Planned Parenthood, created the organization to exterminate the black population. This largely explains why the percentage of blacks have held steady around 12.5% for over sixty years. Margaret Sanger was a frequent speaker at Klan rallies for many years, which helps us understand where she’s coming from.
  3. The Satanists have emerged as an advocate for Planned Parenthood to restore abortion to Missouri according to the Kansas City Star: http://www.kansascity.com/news/local/article173168316.html. This is perfect marriage made in hell. The forces of evil have always been aligned with abortion, and now they are working in the open.
  4. When a society assumes the authority to choose who lives and dies, then we are well past the slippery slope conversation. We have jumped into the abyss. We need to repent and pray that God will not give us what we deserve.
  5. You may have noticed that I do not use the “abortion” word to describe this evil act. The word in this debate serves to sanitize the reality of murder in the first degree. It also serves to inoculate us to continue functioning without our conscience bothering us.
  6. In conclusion, God has judged nations for their crimes against Him for ages and we are no exception. The blood of many souls are crying out for justice and they will be answered.

In light of my failure to connect with the press and the possibility that my comments may not have made it past the editor’s desk anyway, I wanted to give a response from a Biblical and Christian vantage point here.

Christians Uniting for Political Action

The War is Against God

“In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” (Judges 17: 6)

The modern Left cannot survive without the fuel of pain, dissatisfaction, and the imposition of victimhood onto every segment of society. Their clients are those who are convinced that they have been victimized by whites, the rich, Christians, Jews, America, and all of the institutions that serve our common interest.

When they’ve convinced everyone to point the finger at their neighbor, they create a pie with a hundred slices where each slice feels deserving of the other slices. By virtue of being the sower of victimization they are obviously the one to bring a cure, which always results in theft. They take from the rich without their consent. The Christian loses status by being marginalized as haters of the LBGT community. They steal our national identity by demonizing our history and its founders. They steal from every achiever and achievement. They are true to Karl Marx by honoring the concept of, “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need,” with no concept of personal effort or responsibility.

In the name of fairness the left has created superior and inferior citizens. The victim and the villain are necessary for the argument to work. The net result of their war with the aggressors of society is that they become the new aggressor, devouring everything and everyone in their path. We saw the Occupy Wall Street (Astro-turf) movement demand that the rich give away their earnings or become a target of vandalizing and oppressive taxation. We saw Black Lives Matter demand free tuition and reparations; or, they would burn, loot and riot. We see the Non-Discrimination Movement championed by human rights organizations and the LGBT community that demands Christians give up their religious freedom and property rights or be liable under hate crime laws.

Make no mistake that since the Left has embraced Marxism and the tactics of the community organizer Saul Alinsky, the American pie is carved into many parts rendering us ungovernable. If one choses to become disenfranchised there are enough categories for everyone to find a home.  This world where the citizens are convinced that we can devour each other is a dream come true by the Marxist-Leftist- Progressives. The nondependent citizen, by default, is the enemy of the state by not participating in the feeding frenzy of imaginary victimization. Chaos is the stimulant that paves the way for centralizing power. Obamacare, a completely untenable policy where failure is the ultimate end and centralization is their answer, is the great example of this.

There is no question that the objective is to remove us from our Biblical roots and declare man as God. In their atheistic minds, the God-man is the giver of life. He will free man to serve the desires of his flesh and free him from the oppressive Judeo-Christian system. Yes, believe it or not, chaos is the end game. Somewhere in the chaos comes a point where our historic foundations are replaced with a Satanic-inspired form of government where man is free from God.

Let’s not forget how Saul Alinsky felt about all of this. “Lest we forget at least an over the shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins – or which is which), the very first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom – Lucifer.”

Quotes

"In my view, the Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government ought to be instructed...No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people." - Noah Webster
